Common questions

What's free, and what does the purchase add?

Worlds 1 and 2 and the Daily Catch are free, for as long as you like. One purchase unlocks the full game: Worlds 3 to 8 and their bosses, on every tier, FISHAGEDDON (the endless mode), the Boss Rush, and everything they lead to. (Worlds 1 and 2 are free on every tier, Hard and Holy! included.) There are no ads, no subscriptions and nothing else to buy.

I bought the full game. How do I get it on my other device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account. The game checks the App Store when it opens; if it hasn't caught up, go to Settings in the game and tap Restore Purchase.

Does my progress carry over between devices?

Yes, through iCloud, if you're signed in to iCloud on both. Progress is merged rather than replaced, so playing on two devices never loses anything.

It's too hard.

Turn on Easy Fins in Settings: you get a free shield after each lost heart, three times a world. Every star still counts, though a lost heart is still a hit. Upgrades (the wrench on the main menu) help too, and coins can be refunded and spent again at any time.

It's too easy.

Earn two of a world's three stars (clear it, rescue all five kittens, take no hits) to open its Hard tier, and two on Hard to open Holy!. Then try the Boss Rush.

The screen shakes and flashes too much.

Settings → Reduce Motion turns off screen shake, flashes and slow motion. By default it follows the Reduce Motion setting on your device.

Can I use a game controller?

Yes. The left stick or d-pad flies, A launches the cat, and Menu pauses.
